We gave this 1948's plaster sculpture a thorough clean and re-touched the paint work where needed. As we have seen so many times in the past, the statue had been carelessly repainted over the years. The challenge lay in uncovering and matching the original colours. There is beauty and heritable value in old artefacts and we strive to revive rather than redo these pieces of art.
